Installation Snapshot

  1. Support the bike on its centre stand; remove the rear wheel.

  2. Release the old boot from the swing-arm lip and slide it off the drive snout.

  3. Clean mating surfaces; apply a light smear of silicone grease.

  4. Slide the new boot over the snout; seat both sealing lips into their grooves.

  5. Refit the wheel, torque fasteners to spec, and verify the boot compresses smoothly through the suspension stroke.
